Through the "Tell us your idea" form you can voluntarily provide:
All fields except name and email are optional.
Through the "Write my review" form you can provide:
Only your name and the review text are required; everything else is optional.
The "Tell us your idea" form does not store your data in any database. Depending on the method you choose when sending it:
wa.me link). It never passes through any JCS Software server: it travels from your
browser to your WhatsApp, and from there to JCS Software's.The "Write my review" form works differently: besides being sent by email to JCS Software (like "Tell us your idea"), the review is stored in a database (Supabase, hosted in the European Union) as pending review. JCS Software then decides, from a link in that email, whether to publish it on the site, keep it hidden, or delete it. While pending or hidden, the review is not publicly visible; your email address (if you gave one) is never shown on the site either — only the name, business, text, and rating of published reviews.
To respond to your inquiry about a possible software project and, if both parties decide to, move forward toward a proposal and a contract. For reviews, to display on the site the opinions of clients who choose to share one. This data is not used for marketing and is not shared with third parties.
This website does not use third-party advertising tools. The technical "third parties" are: Vercel, which hosts the website, runs the server functions, and provides aggregated, anonymous visit analytics (no cookies, no per-visitor identification); Google, through Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies (see section 6); Resend, used in the email delivery path to deliver messages to the JCS Software inbox; and Supabase, which hosts on servers in the European Union the database where reviews are stored while pending review or published. None of them store "Tell us your idea" form data beyond the time needed to process and send it.
This website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to know how many visits it receives, which pages are viewed most and where people arrive from. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser, so it is only enabled if you accept in the notice shown the first time you visit. If you reject it, no analytics cookie is set and the website works exactly the same.
Your choice is stored in your own browser for twelve months; after that you are asked again. To change it sooner, clear this site's data from your browser. IP addresses are collected in anonymised form, and this data is never cross-referenced with what you send through the contact form.
Separately, Vercel provides aggregated, anonymous visit analytics that do not use cookies.
For the "Tell us your idea" form, there is no database where your answers are stored. Whether the submission is sent by email (via the server function and Resend) or by WhatsApp (directly from your browser), the data is only kept in the JCS Software inbox that receives it, and in your own email or WhatsApp if you send yourself a copy, according to those providers' own retention policies.
For reviews, data is kept in the database while the review is pending review or published, until JCS Software deletes it or the person who wrote it asks for it to be removed (see the next section).
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, and restrict the processing of your data, and to data portability, by writing to jcssoftware.es@gmail.com. If you wrote a review and want it deleted or changed, you can also request that by email. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you believe your rights have not been respected.
The website is always served over HTTPS (encrypted connection). "Tell us your idea" form data is not stored on any own server or database, which eliminates the risk of a data breach from this website for that data. Reviews are stored in a database (Supabase, in the EU), protected with restricted access: only this website's server functions can read or modify it, using a key that is never exposed to the browser or to third parties.
